Handlers Day 8th November

I turned up for cleaning expecting this to be the usual rush day of clean, walk, serve guests, go home - only to find out that it was a handlers only day. This was excellent news at it meant a lot more time with the wolves and not having to worry about the 'public'. Totally selfish, I know, but sometimes you have to be!

John and Alba. Alba had been a bit bouncy the last day or so getting excited and jumping the handlers... as you can see here though he is more than happy to be submissive and get attention.

I think this is a nice photo of Kodiak
Dakota Alba again

We took Duma and Dakota out for a walk in the woods so that Colin could assess the trainee handlers.

When we got back to the Trust we had the obligatory cup of coffee to warm up and then John went in with the Europeans again. They were calm so the trainees and other handlers got to go in (without Alba). I had a great time with one of the girls (unfortunately I am not able to tell them apart yet. They were very affectionate and had a great time having a tummy rub.

As the sun went down they went up on the hill and I got some nice silhouette photos.
