Beenham February 7th 2004


Well my love of Kodiak continues. as you can see in the picutes below. He may be an old man, but he is still very special.

This was a wonderful clear day, when we went out on our walk at the beginning we had hail and heavy rain, but it soon cleared up and was glorious.

Half way down here is a picture of Alba and Latea coming to investigate me. When they had done this Alba did his usual pacing - then he did something he has not before - he scent marked me through the fence whilst I was trying to get a picture of his sister... smelt like smokey bacon crisps!

As you can see I took a whole series of picture of Dakota standing over Duma. An interesting situation as usually this would be demonstrating dominance over the wolf lying down, by the one standing up. It this case though, I don't know - they both seemed happy enough though.
