The day started off as a normal day - cleaning out... its a dirty job, but someone has gotta do it.
To be honest - Kodiak and Keenai were pretty clean, so it was just a matter of tidying up, srubbing the floor where it had been weed on and rinsing out... we have a shortage on straw at the moment (If you know of anyone willing to donate some PLEASE get in touch) so it is very precious. Another benefit of not changing their straw all the time is it gets to smell of them and be reassuring, also they get to hunt for little scraps of food that may be left.
Any straw with urine of feacis is removed and burt though!
All too soon it was time to go out for a walk with a group from SPICE. I went up to the woods with Darren to go and spray laces so that the girls would not be interested with them, then I chatted with the group whilst we waited for the trailer to turn up.
