Another day at the Trust with no public walk so nice and relaxing... NOT!
There is a LOT of work to be done at the Trust appart from looking after the
wolves. Today John cut the grass in the enclosures, we tidied out the dead grass
from round the base of the trees (this was 2 trailer loads of grass!), dug up
dock leaves, pulled up fence posts and more besides...
I also had a late night the day before as I had driven up to Sutton (London) to go and collect my latest ebay aquisition. A Sigma 170 - 500mm Zoom. Canon EOS fit. F5 - 6.3 APO. For those of you who do not know this is a BIG lense for my camera. All of the pictures from today were taken using this lense and I am really looking forward to getting some more shots over the summer. It allows me to take a picture of the wolves in the middle of the enclosure fairly clearly and I hope the further from me they are, the more natural they will be behaving.
