Moving day!

Not many pictures today, but those that I did take are very significant.

These are pictures of John and Colin, two of our three senior handlers. Colin is the only person who can go in the enclosure with Kodiak and we wanted to move him. It had been decided to try swapping the wolves around into different enclosures. The Euros and the Girls had taken so well to switching enclosures that it was thought a change of scenery may do the old couple good too.

The plan is to move the wolves around every 3 months or so, this is to give them a different experience and stimulation.

Moving the old couple up to the top also gets them out of the valley which is often several degrees colder at night...
        Kenai keen to go.
This is the first time that Kodiak has come this way up the farm since he moved into the lower enclosure.
  The Euros are
interested.

Some marking   Into a new home
Kodiak goes straight in, starts examining and marking...
    The girls look on...
