Up one level

UKWCT Beenham March 20th 2005

Saturday was a great warm day and so I came prepared in my shorts on Sunday... unfortunately it was not quite so warm, but it was pleasant none the less and it was my birthday too.

At around 16 degrees it was a nice if somewhat cloudy day.

Even though I was not down for the walk I got the chance to go as one of the other volunteers was not well. I did start off on car watching duty, but one of the other volunteer's partners offered to do it. Great. Then it turned out a couple of people had not turned up for the walk so I stayed behind to wait for them.

They only turned up after about 30 minutes, so we did not catch up with the group until the 'stump talk'.

Briefing Nice van!     Keen to go.
  Meet the pack...
Something a little different, pictures from across the lake.
It was interesting as the girls stayed in the lake longer, watching me...
Be good to try it again, but with my longer lens - nice colours though.

Afterwards it was back to the Farm and by some miracle I managed to direct parking to get all the cars in to the car park - there were quite a lot. Tea and coffee with biscuits was served, then a tour of the rest of the farm.

Once the visitors had gone and the place was tidy everyone headed off.
