Up one level

UKWCT Beenham February 27th 2005

Today was an early start - 7:30 am from Eastbourne. I had been to see the King and I at the Congress Theatre and spent the night at my parents in Pevensey Bay.

We had awoken to find snow all over the place and it was still snowing... very strange waking up to snow at the seaside. I managed good time on the roads though with only a sprinkling of snow once I was on the main road as you can see.

The Euros appear to be in fine form and settling in to the new heirarchy, finally. Today someone even saw that after Lunca
had submitted to Latea she groomed her for a while.
Lunca with a little more freedom to roam...
Anglea, handling, arrangef for her Labrador group to come and visit the Trust for a walk.
Duma listens in on the 'stump' talk... this is a talk about 1/2 way round, explaining about the Trust, how it originated,
also what its philosphies and goals are. There is also a bit more information about wolves in general.
'New Style' meet and greet where the public has more space with the wolf. It works well.
Kenai gets to come and say hello in her wolfish way. Fierce animals? You would not believe it...
A range of silhouette shots, not decided how to clean these up yet, think they are quite nice though.

Spot the chain...

A very nice, if somewhat cold day.

Chances are there will be no pictures from Beenham next week, as I fly
to Poland on Sunday 6th March.
I am sure there will be a big write up when I get back, but not sure on the
pics as it may be too cold for the camera!
